One of our best days in Kyoto. The Kitano Tenman-Gû shrine is in itself a must-visit, given its beauty and historical importance. But we also went there for its flea market, which is held there every 25th of the month. Few tourists, mostly locals, a mix of schoolchildren, grannies, bargain hunters and people who come to pray.
The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, we chatted with lots of people!
The Olympus Pen does the job perfectly and the Seagull, which is actually a Chinese version of the Kentmere, is a film that I also like.
More photos (of the flea market itself) tomorrow.
