ATTENTION! The LomoChromome Metropolis 120 is incorrectly numbered on the back paper for the 6x9 (6x4.5) format. Instead of the digits 1-8, it then goes on to 16! Absolutely no go @lomography

@rodiongork The Leica II (Germany 1935) with the "Leitz" Elmar 5 cm f/3.5 (M39 x 1/12", USSR) was a good camera for the time. The Russian Leicas live longer.

@rodiongork An interesting article about the Pioneer 1934! Unfortunately, the Leica M39 thread (39mm x 1/26 inch) does not fit Braun, FED... (M39 × 1 mm)...

@klawe sorry, don't have article in English or Deusch, but anyway there are pictures. One of the curious features - mount M40 instead of M39. bar90cameras.ru/pioner-voomp-1934-g-284

@klawe also I'm a bit confused whether this cooperation history relates to the FED clones of Leica or to their less known rivals "Pioner", produced in 1934-37 by VOOMP/GOI (which later become LOMO)

@klawe again "wow" for this bit of curious historical information! Again something I (like most my countrymates) probably missed from Leica-FED history. Would be great to learn bit more details...

@rodiongork The joint venture between Leitz and the Soviet Union began 90 years ago. The SU had supplied lenses (Made in Germany 😍) for the Leica and was allowed to clone the cams 5 years later.

I tried RA4 reversal printing (Direct positives on very expired color paper). It was an interesting experiment, with crazy color shifts. www.lomography.tw/homes/jolom/albums/2430998-ra4-rever
