Looking south from Cockshott Point

Bowness Bay is one of the main Lake District honeypots, attracting tourists in there thousands virtually every day of the year, eager to spend money in the shops and cafes, and take boat trips to Ambleside or Lakeside. It's about as much of the Lake District as many visitors see, the tame version, requiring no effort to climb hills or get off the beaten track. Diana+, and Velvia x-pro.
