Did you know that the state of Michigan has 35,000 islands around it? Of them, Mackinac Island is the most famous. On the island, automobiles are banned. So it's a magical place of past and present. Bikes and horses are the main form of transportation. It's so beautiful and wonderful and I wish more places would outlaw cars.
