Don't trust your scanning software

This is what happened when I tweaked a lot of slider in Vuescan. I removed the entre blue channel.
Why can't vuescan give me this in first instance?

    so true (don't trust the scanner), eventhough I haven't self scan my roll but I get three different result from three different lab photo
