Der Schuss aus der Hüfte gilt als Urprinzip der Lomographie. Nichtsdestotrotz hat sich die Szene weiterentwickelt und giert nach mehr. Das Medium der Wahl ist nach wie vor der analoge Film. Jedoch brauchen sich die Lomographen mit ihren Bildern nicht mehr vor denen ihrer digitalen Vettern verstecken. Der Film ist nur das Medium, die Kunst kommt vom Lomographen. In meiner Reihe möchte ich ein paar grundlegende Tipps geben, wie man den künstlerischen Ausdruck seiner Bilder verstärken kann.

In the first quarter of the year, my local camera shop and Emulsion Gallery Chicago set up a film swap with 15 members on each side. Our project was to shoot Hawaii and Chicago and trade rolls of Slide rolls for Xpro. This was from the second and final roll. My Chicago shooter used an LC-Wide while I used a Canon AE-1 with 135mm lens

My first try with this incredible light sensitive monster. The whole set-up is great and it's an awesome tool. One thing I have to learn now are the new zones. Close-Up starts with 0,6m, so it's exactly in the middle of LC-A+ and LC-Wide. I kind of have to feel my distance naturally. With zones you really have to be disciplined. And it was great to test it with @grad and the beautiful @gotoarizona. memorable meeting at my recent Russia-Trip to St.Petersburg.
This is one on my favorite photos. I, rarely, used to try double exposures on my photos. But since I saw that one, playing with double and triple shoots in the same frame was one of my obsessions. I love how looks like it is raining flowers in this photo.
