Sunrise over the Rocky Mountains

Kodak E-4 color slide dupe finally getting great results at ISO 6! E-4 slides crossed as negatives in C-22 chemistry. 45 year old color film of dubious heritage and this is by far the best I've been able to get in 5 or 6 attempts. Some loss of detail due to no first developer I think, but great 1970s colors and consistently developed frames. C-22 developer for 16 minutes (up from 13), 20 second rinse, 4 minute stop, 20 second rinse, 4 minute hardener, 4 minute wash, 10 minute bleach (up from 6), 4 minute wash, 8 minute ammonium thiosulfate fix (up from 6 minutes). 8 minute final rinse/wash a long night to dry. All of this was under CONSTANT agitation instead of the usual regime and I think that really helped thin the negative and even-out the development. Temperatures mostly held at 75 degrees F. This has been a bit of an adventure to get decent color out of this film and it's pretty cool to bring some life back to this film, esp slide dupe that has no business seeing the light of day!
