out for a hike with my wife and her dad around an old estate property in villanova. as an arborist, this really burns me up inside... i understand the allure of carving your name in the bark of a beech tree and watching it scar over and sometimes remaining visible over many years, but it does significant damage to the trees, especially when everyone feels the need to do it...ok, the old man in me got that off my chest...nonetheless, these two inscriptions made me laugh a little.
