Visit to WRMI, Radio Miami International. WRMI is the largest privately owned shortwave radio station in the Western Hemisphere. WRMI has 14 tube-type transmitters, 23 antennas beamed in 11 directions around the world and a machine shop to produce parts which are no longer manufactured. WRMI broadcasts to listeners around the world such shows as Wavescan DX show, Radio Prague International, Radio Slovakia International, Radio Tirana, Radio Ukraine International, RAE Argentina, Blues Radio International, Jazz from the Left, Glenn Hauser's World of Radio and VORW International. This album was a visit with the local amateur radio club to WRMI's Open House, Christmas Party and 25th Anniversary celebration.
