In the studio

Just a couple of shots from a disappointing roll - I took my camera into the local BBC radio station las time I did a 'slot'. Ryan the DJ didn't seem to mind having his picture taken. I should have taken a flash though

    no, definitely better without flash. I love the look of the pushed hp5. very good picture!

    @captainfantastic Thanks, You're probably right about the flash. But I couldn't use this pic without tweaking the levels in GIMP, and that feels like cheating to me. Just a little bit.

    Like the grain. The darker capture just seems more the habitat of radio wave transmission.

    The graininess does suit the subject. I'm not sure why radio studios have to be so dimly lit, but they do always seem to be.
