Hanging up my Marteniza

There's a Bulgarian tradition according to which you get a red-and-white-striped handmade wristband at the beginning of March and you hang it onto the first tree in bloom you come across. Each year, my Bulgarian friend gives me one and this year, I was lucky, it was a beautiful pink cherry tree :)
