Found film - defeloped in 2015, after perhaps 50 years in the camera.

I developed the film found in Brownie Hawk Eye box camera bought on eBay. Kodak stopped making the Hawkeye in 1961, the film looks that old. The camera still works and handles a lot like a Holga or Diana toy camera. Developing “found film” is like discovering a “Time Capsule” and being the first to open it.

    Great album!, thank you!
    How this roll was developed?

@gmushinsky This old roll of film was very tight and difficult to load onto the film reel. I used a ten minute pre-soak with water at room temperature. I then processed the film as a normally would with Kodak HC 110 developer and Ilford Fix.

    Thank you.
    Excellent job with perfect result!
I tried to develop the film from an old camera (though the film was not that old as yours I guess) and damaged it during loading; thought of pre-soaking only when it was too late.
