The camera i used for this album, the Zorki C.

My lovely old Zorki C. I believe it's from 1952/1953. It's a copy of the old Leica II from 1935.

Mine has a fake Leica re-badge with a sleeve collar rewind instead of the little lever. A lovely lens with brass body. There was good quality control in the 50's.

@lomodesbro It sure feels like good quality. It's also very heavy for its size. Not a single piece of plastic of course.

I think this is not the Zorki C, it looks like one of earlier models of Zorki. The Zorki C has a taller top and flash syncronization

@alessandro-agrati I wrote Zorki C, but I think it's also called Zorki 1C. The camera I have look exactly like the one in this link: swcornell.com/camera/zorki1.html and in this link: camerapedia.wikia.com/wiki/Zorki_1 The following link is about the 1B, and that is different than mine.

Understand, 1C it's one of the many variations of the original Zorki model. Mine is Zorki 1D, these earlier cameras are very cool!;)

@alessandro-agrati I loved using it. It is, for its size, very heavy. All metal after all.

Great camera but not very easy to use ! People ask me each time what it is when I have a walk with it... not discreet but funny !

@oliv0380 Funny it is! I greatly enjoyed using it. Technically it's not very "elegant" when it comes to loading it with film but the rest is ok designed i guess. For everything to be "normal" to one I guess it has to be used regularly. The fact that you need to wind the film BEFORE you adjust the shutterspeed is a silly feature but when you know about it works still.

@oliv0380 I was surprised to see how sharp the images became. If I look at the bridgeimage I can count almost every rivet.
