Tree of Life

Another sunset, this time with the foreground of one of my favorite trees at Rapperswil pier. About 3hrs 30min exposure with some interesting details in this one; Some leaves are half transparent, meaning they fell down half way during the exposure, nice way showing transitioning seasons. Or the hint of a person sitting on the bench at bottom right. There must have been 50 people briefly standing in my shot over those three hours, I like to believe that they are somehow in there. However, it has a different feel than the purely abstract diagonal sun streak compositions of late.

For me, this is your best one of your sun streak-pictures. Very nice!

It looks like the tree is inflamed - amazing!

@sierravictor Thanks! Good to hear. I always have a hard time judging my pictures taken in portrait format

@klawe Talking about fire, this was my longest sun exposure yet, I was eagle-eying my camera to make sure it doesn't catch fire!

@guja Thanks! I agree, on all the pictures, the places where clouds/trees/horizon etc overlap the sun always look the coolest

@josa Thank you! It's really not all that easy, I spend the afternoons to find a frame that looks pleasing by itself but also works with the path of the sun. This one worked well I think...
