Portra 800 is definitely the way to go with this technique. I will be getting a ND filter for the color side for brighter days and that should help as well....I finally tracked down the pesky light leaks too I think. They are coming in at the film counter holes. Normally there is a little peg on the camera back that goes into the hole and helps align the camera back and the body and I think without it there plugging up the holes that is letting in some light. So little by little I am getting there. On the next roll I will use a tripod and see if I can get more accurate registration.
