Taken i believe in 1975 on Olafs wake

The 29th of july, Olafs wake, is the day the norwegian king Olaf ll Haraldsson died in the battle of Stiklestad east of Trondheim. He was canonised in the 3 of august 1031. He is remembered as Rex perpetus Norvegia, the eternal king of Norway. King Olafs martyrdom appears to have contributed decisively to establishing the church in all parts of the country. Remember that this was a time when some people in Norway still believed in the vikinggods Odin and Thor. The day is called olsok in norwegian and was a major church feast in the nordic countries until the reformation.

The picture was taken by my father.

We are talking about the very Olaf who deceived Norwegians and gave his daughter Ingegerd for Prince Yaroslav the Wise, who reigned then in Novgorod?
