Old Town Soda Shop

This is a soda shop located in the original part of Slidell--it's a very major part of our childhood as we all used to go there with our parents and siblings for the skeeball and claw machines. It flooded in 2005 during Katrina and only just reopened last night. Unfortunately it flooded again just a few weeks later during Isaac.

Many of our friends have had birthday parties at this place when we were kids and the soda shop owns a big red fire truck that they parade around town on special occasions. It is awesome and I hope it comes back soon.
