Colorful Perfectionists

black and white allows for a barren waste land
one which is devoid of all falsifications
these are falsifications we cook up to appeal to the so-called niceties we cherish
pretty colors only hide the raw soul that exists in everything
and which is exposed by the black and white

hear reality that we paint colors to feel better about ourselves
hear reality that we have nothing to feel better about
nothing because everyone got the same cookie cutters
fragile! crumbling pieces!
instead they've gone to hating the bakers,
of poisoning the cookie jars, stomping on pieces

hold your tongue perfectionists
hold your tongue
