Zorki-5 Selfie - yet another early Leica-derivative

Recently bought this Zorki-5 - to recap, the first Zorki is the same FED (just made at different factory, KMZ), which is blatant plagiarism of Leica-II. Several early advancements evolved, particularly this one, by 1958-59 - with winding-lever (instead of knob), wide rangefinder base and combined rangefinder/viewfinder window. It may be confusing, but Zorki-4 is more advanced than Zorki-5 and Zorki-6 and was produced for much longer period. Notice two flash-contacts here - one is for those single-shot flashes which required activation earlier than the shutter was really opened. Macro-ring 5mm was used to make this shot (28cm to mirror).

@klawe wow, thanks for the link! interesting, it seems that lomography.de is separate site, need to investigate :) but to the topic - the author seems to be happy owner of "early" model, easily distinguishable by "handwritten-style" logo and seemingly famous problems with mechanics. Despite these problems are famous, they are very poorly documented so this article is really very good source! My version is more dull "later"model (despite they were produced just for 2 years in total), supposedly with fixed mechanics, unified with Zenit-3(m) early SLRs. www.lomography.tw/photos/24890747
