"Playgrounds" is a new series dedicated to the urban study of the Italian urban landscape, starting from my city Como and extending slowly my research towards the neighboring towns and occasionally also outside the province. I invite you to observe especially the background, the surrounding urban environment. There are no people, there are no children in this series. No more street photos with people in my albums, for a long time.
Tal vez esta fue una de las últimas fotos que tomé en BKK, fue antes de que me fuera a India porque cuando regresé de ahí, la Diana Mini ya estaba descompuesta. En BKK, no todo el tiempo, fueron días en blanco y negro... ahora que lo veo desde fuera, pienso que fueron días así por concentrarme en el pasado y no aferrarme a lo único que tenía: el presente. Y aunque conocí y tuve muy buenos amigos, extrañé tanto el calor de las personas, pues estaba acostumbrada a estar rodeada de mis mejores amigos y diferentes actividades. Y si me dijeran que si regresamos el pasado para elegir un destino diferente de intercambio, volvería a elegir Tailandia, porque a pesar de esos altibajos y hartarme de mi misma o de pasar días durmiendo en casa sin salir más que por comida, tuve que reconocer que no soy un dios, aceptar que no puedes vivir en el pasado y no esperar momentos "perfectos". Además, Tailandia fue el puente para que viviera una de las experiencias más bellas y confrontantes de mi vida: Mi primer viaje sola a nada más y nada menos que India.
