zenit_test_nov2019

I was in the mood for some Soviet-style shooting, and a Zenit-E was just the ticket. Amazingly, even the selenium light meter still works!

interesting...not sure though: I would add you receive a photo when you take it/make it....

@rolfmg Good point... But I think Ansel Adams (that's his famous maxim) had one, too: Photography isn't about "taking" something readymade – you're creating a unique thing. (At least that's how I understand the quote...)

@anttihoo For sure I did not want to challenge that quote. It is true in the sense or your interpretation. In particular if I take shots from "subjects" I am thankful to receive such a shot.....even though I was triggered by my "creativity" in that very moment...which again points at Ansel Adams maxim....thanks for the exchange...

@rolfmg Yes... I get it now, and I think you've hit the nail on the head there! Adams had the skill (and took the time) to probably "make" pretty much what he set out to achieve; but there is also every reason to be thankful for any good shots, which can be like unexpected gifts... especially If you're a heedless hobbyist like me, with still a lot to learn. Interesting... I need to think about this some more. Thanks!
