Turquoise schmerquoise

Was not impressed with my first roll of Lomochrome Turquoise. I do like how it turned my blue bus gold here, but most other shots turned out really wishy-washy with no contrast and horribly vivid greens that gave the shots a totally unnatural look. I didn't even bother uploading them cos I don't want them in my home. Verdict: basically not impressed with this film.

    What ISO-setting did you use?

@sierravictor I set it to 200 - wasn't sure what works best, so went for the middle ground.

@clickiemcpete I do have a second roll to shoot at some stage. Will maybe try that one at 100 ISO.

100 ISO will give you a more intense orange most likely. I tried it at 400 ISO which on some pictures gave me a black and white-effect on things that didn't turn out blue or orange.

Well, the turquoise works well for landscapes with a lot of sun and blue sky, it can give some stunning color shifts to the blue and reds: I think for landscapes in autumn, with a lot of red and yellow colors and blue sky, there is something to make with this film.

@sierravictor @vicuna Thanks for your advice, guys - much appreciated! Maybe I'm being too critical of this film, and maybe it's the photographer's ignorance instead of the film's capabilities that led to disappointing results on my first attempt ;-) I will eventually give it another try, for sure. Thanks again! :-)
