The Central Cemetery of Constanta is a place where you go back in time and learn a bit of history. I was surprised to find a bunch of monuments here and passing by the modern, ordinary graves, you will find at the back at the cemetery a museum-like atmosphere.

The Great Mosque of Constanta is one of the most important monuments in my hometown. It impresses not only through its unique architecture, but also through the magnificent view of the Constanta Port and city which can be admired from the Mosque’s tower.

Gravity Park Constanta is my favorite place in my hometown. Not only is it the biggest extreme sports complex in Romania, but it is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. It’s the place where I can relax, have a great time, practice the sports I love and take funky photos with my Lomo cameras.

At the end of summer, I had the opportunity to visit Bulgaria. I am from Constanta, Romania, and getting to the small village of Tyulenovo is a piece of cake! It is very near and therefore, very convenient to visit. The trip was one of a kind, the views extraordinary, and the atmosphere very relaxing.

Although I have been living in Constanta for 23 years, I have never visited the Dobrogea Keys until a few days ago. I was truly impressed by the beauty and uniqueness of this very old landscape. Here you are in touch with nature, you feel you’re in a different time and place even though you’re only 40km away from the hustle and bustle of Constanta.

If you’re ever in Constanta on a cold or gloomy day and you’re in the mood to take some photos or just relax, the Constanta Aquarium is the place to be! It is not the most glamorous or the most breathtaking place in my home town, but it’s worth visiting.

My hometown, Constanta has a rich history and a lot of cool places to visit. As it hosts the biggest port in Romania, Constanta couldn’t do without a place to honor the history of the Romanian Navy. All the local people know about it, but when it comes to tourists, they are bound to miss out on this unique museum.

The Roman Mosaic is one of the coolest museums in Constanta. It’s not too big so you won’t get bored and you’ll have more time to focus on the details. Whenever I visit the Roman Mosaic, I always take my time to look at all the different artifacts. It is a unique and inspiring experience as I have the opportunity to see one of the most ancient art forms and discover how time has influenced it.

“Dwarf Land” is one of my favorite places in Constanta as it reminds me of my childhood. It is the biggest kids’ playground in town and is part of Tăbăcărie Park. It has a very lively atmosphere and is the perfect place to take some fun photos.

Constanta is one of the most important cities in Romania. It has a population of approximately 310,000 inhabitants, it hosts the biggest port of the Black Sea and the largest seaside resort in Romania. Constanta is my hometown and is the most impressive during the summer! Its the time when the colors of the city really shine and Constanta immediately comes to life.

I spent most of my free time as a youngster in the Culture House Park as it was the perfect place to go rollerblading. I loved this sport and I still do so. Once in a while I still go there to rollerblade. What can I say, it’s a roller skater’s dream place!

The casino is one of the most important landmarks in Romania and the most significant in my hometown, Constanta. Even though its interior cannot be visited because the casino has been closed to the public for several years, this magnificent monument has been Constanta’s trademark since 1910.

Der Zentralfriedhof von Costana ist ein Ort, an dem man in der Zeit zurückreist und ein wenig über Geschichte lernt. Ich war überrascht einige Denkmäler zu finden und vorbei an den modernen, einfachen Gräbern findet man im hinteren Teil des Friedhofes eine beinahe museumsartige Atmosphäre.

The Park with Rocks is my favorite park in Constanta. However, this is not its real name. I have been calling it by this name since I was little, as this particular park is full of large rocks. But if you look closely, you will find that they are quite special!

Quando ero un bambino, ho trascorso la maggior parte del mio tempo libero al Culture House Park ed era il posto perfetto per andare con i rollerblade. Amavo quello sport e lo amo tutt'ora. Ogni tanto li uso ancora. Quello che posso dire per certo, è che è un posto da sogno per tutti gli skater!

“Ioan N. Roman” Public Library is the biggest of its kind in Constanta County. It was officially founded on the 19th of July 1931 and by 1942, it already housed about 20,000 volumes. In 2008, the Public Library had about 504,000 books and a substantial collection of audio/video documents, electronic documents, manuscripts, microfilms, and iconography.
