  It's not the most conventional of honeymoons I know but after two fabulous weeks on the road, our van broke down in Queenstown and we were stranded!

• Lake Tekapo and the Church of the Good Shepherd

  After visiting Auckland and Banks Peninsula near Christchurch, the third stop of our big New Zealand trip was Lake Tekapo: it's one of the most magical mountain lakes in the New Zealand Alps. The place is also well known for its nice little chapel called the Church of the Good Shepherd.

• On the way to Wanaka

  After the magical time that we spent in Fjordland, it was time to go back on the road in reach of our next destination: Wanaka! Although before Wanaka, we first went to Queenstown where we got really disappointed.

  ニュージーランドの長期旅行のなかで、オークランドとクライストチャーチ近くのバンクス半島を訪れた私たちは、３つめにテカポ湖を訪れました。これはニュージーランドで一番魅力的なマウンテンレイクです。善き羊飼いの教会という小さなチャペルでもよく知られています。

  フィヨルドランドの神秘を楽しんだ後、また道を引き返すときがやってきました。次の目的地・・・それはワナカ！けれどもワナカに行く前に、クイーンズタウンに立ち寄って、私たちはかなりがっかりしてしまいました。

• Lake Tekapo und die Kirche des Guten Hirten

  Nach unserem Besuch in Auckland und Banks Peninsula nahe Christchurch war der 3. Stopp auf unserer großen Neuseeland Reise Lake Tekapo. Es ist einer der bezaubernsten Bergseen in den Neuseeländer Alpen. Der Ort ist recht bekannt für seine kleine Kapelle "Church of the Good Sheperd".

  Ich weiß, es sind nicht gerade die konventionellsten Flitterwochen, aber nach zwei grandiosen Wochen auf der Straße, streikte unser Van in Queenstown und wir waren gestrandet.
