Light, leak and the light leaks.
12 2024th October 2010, the day the 10/24 project starts, me and jimmy plan to go for an outing at KL, shoot some outdoor pictures, under the sunny sunshine.
Things went normal until I’ve finished my existing roll in my lc-a, then as usual, i try to rewind it and reload a new film for the 10/24 project.
I rewinded it half way, and then…
It’s tight. It’s so tight inside I can barely continue rewinding! Getting nervous and sweaty under the sun, I was asking help from Jimmy instead. Jimmy was trying to use all his strength and I can see the steel is going to break soon >.<
I’m so scared that my lc-a will broken (AGAIN) and then i decided to open up the back of the lc-a to have a look in the condition inside, without a dark room, or a dark bag either. I just open it up inside my basket bag, and I realize the film was stuck and going to break into half. Feeling disappointed and fear of losing those pics I’ve taken earlier of the roll at Ipoh, (an outing with my dearly hometown buddies), I had no choice but to taken it out too no matter what. I took it out with bare hand and roll it back into a film canister. :(
I had a feeling, the pictures will gone :(
I did not roll it properly, and i do it in a train station, which it’s not even in indoor. :(
Days after, I send the film to develop. It;s so dark on the film. Which means, it’s gonna be over expose in the pictures.
But, I still send it to scan thou.
And.
This is what I get.
Light, leaks and the light leaks!
Life is like an analogue photography.
You never know what you gonna get.
No matter how disappointed you are with your life now,
things might work out differently as what you think it was,
and the outcome might be something surprising instead of disappointment. :)
